Description

One of my all-time favourite comic book characters, is Deathstroke the Terminator. Not only did P�rez create a beautifully designed costume, but even the name is outstanding! I mean come on, the name can be broken up into two and either one of the two parts by itself sounds like an amazing name for a comic book character. My own preference has always been to refer to him as "Deathstroke", but either way is cool, right?

Sadly, as has happened throughout comic book history, someone (whether it be in the editorial department or on the creative staff), always decides that a classic and still great character's costume needs to be redesigned, and almost always with a vastly inferior version. So, much as my feelings with the Cyborg redesign, so too is this costume a pitiful replacement for the classic. Literally, this could be ANY generic "soldier" character, much like any random agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. I mean this literally could be any random, throwaway character. What were they thinking? The saving grace for me of course, is that it's still wonderfully drawn by Tom Grummett!
