I consider "Oltre la Morte", Dylan Dog #088, one of the very best Dylan Dog issues ever; both the story and the art are top-notch.
In particular, the artist Marco Soldi (who worked on the art for this issue for more than 3 years) shines here with a style that he then changed over time (see this later Dylan Dog page).
The fact that this is the only Dylan Dog issue he has illustrated with this style makes the issue incredibly precious to me.

The story here features a dying Bree Daniels, possibly Dylan's greatest love, and with her, a piece of the Old Boy is also dying. Only Death can find a way out of this dire situation, but it requires a terrible exchange: a life for a life. There's an opportunity for Dylan since the horrific serial killer Johnny Dark is back, but in the end, can Dylan take Death's offer and take a life? Even if it's a serial killer's life?

This magnificent page shows Johnny Dark, Bree, Dylan, and Bloch... all the main characters of the story except Death, that you can see in the other page I own from this issue, page 40.
