Description

This new hybrid is a tribute to the (amazing) director Quentin Tarantino (yep, one of my personal favourites) and to one of Disney's Nine Old Men, the great Marc Davis.

Tarantino's Kill Bill movie is about a former assassin, the Bride, who, after awakening from a four-year coma, wreaks vengeance on the team of assassins who betrayed her..

In Alberto's illustration, we see Cruella (character designed by Davis for the 101 Dalmatians) as Elle Driver, unleashing her fury in Budd's trailer towards the bride, using Hattori Hanzo's sword.
A picture of sheer energy, magnificently composed and so rich in details. It's hypnotic.

In the additional images, you'll find the usual magnificent digitally colored piece by Lavoradori himself, plus a scan of the finished pencils, just before the inking phase.

I love Tarantino. I love Davis. I love the characters Elle Driver and Cruella de Vil. Absurd piece, Fantastic! Can you have a whole story? Blended like this?
