DescriptionThis is the final addition of pages for this particularly wonderful issue. No, there is no hilarious depiction of Lois emasculating Clark or Superman on this page, but as funny as the previous ones were, twice in one story is more than necessary, isn't it? Well, maybe not. Still....this is a fabulous page with a lovely 4 panel grid featuring Superman (actually Batman in disguise) beating up some crooks. Although given what you see in the last panel, perhaps "beating up" is an understatement, as it appears that giant penny likely weighs several hundred pounds at minimum and the crook it's about to fall on will at least be paralyzed if not outright killed! Ah, but what's one less petty crook to worry about, right? As was demonstrated on all the other pages from this issue, Grummett does a stupendous job altering his style to appear as if it was drawn during the Silver Age of comics, and Rodier's "less is more" approach to the finishes really helps to complete the look! Another great addition to your Grummett art collection, Ruben! And, that Superman image in Panel 1 bears a striking resemblance to a Joe Shuster Superman! Congrats!

Another fun page, man! You're right about Grummet altering his style to match that Silver Age look - so clear with Supes, hands on hips, in that first panel! "Why didn't I stay in school and become a dentist? :) Congrats!

Great page! That last panel reminds me of a bit of dialogue from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:
“You know," said Arthur, "it's at times like this, when I'm trapped in a Vogon airlock with a man from Betelgeuse, and about to die of asphyxiation in deep space that I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young."
"Why, what did she tell you?"
"I don't know, I didn't listen.”
