I was a huge fan of Love and Rockets when I was a kid. I bought the first issue via mail order after seeing the trade ad featuring Jaime Hernandez's first issue cover art in The Comics Journal.

I had been after a Love and Rockets page for a couple years. Then Albert Moy posted this page on his site and I remembered this page from the original run. And for some reason, I distinctly remember the panel in the lower right with Danita's face. Happy to finally have a page by Jaime in my collection.

All the faces are superbly and concisely crafted to show what they are feeling in the moment. That kind of raw openess makes their work so important.
