Description

14.5" x 23", brush, pen and India ink on Bristol board, 1996 (unpublished).

Megaton Man™ faces Cowboy Gorilla™ , the Phantom Jungle Girl™ , the Meddler™ , Dr. Sax™ , and more for what was intended to be the eighteenth issue but never published.

Don Simpson's Bizarre Heroes ran seventeen issues; #16 was subtitled Megaton Man vs. Forbidden Frankenstein #1; #17 was subtitled Megaton Man #0. The Direct Sales market distribution system collapse interrupted the cash flow of the publisher, Fiasco Comics Inc., and further issues were never released.
