Description

11" x 14", brush, pen, and India ink on Bristol board.

This is a rejected strip from the online Megaton Man™ Weekly Serial (#111). Penciled, lettered, and (mostly) inked in 1998, some background details and the Megaton Man figure on the left were finished in 2022 by the artist.

The scene shows Megaton Man greeting the Partyers from Mars as the egress from their flying saucer, the George Has a Gun. The Partyers--Anton, Officer Pup, and Kelly--all appeared in the original Megaton Man comics as well as the current Ms. Megaton Man™ Maxi-Series, although Anton is now Anton Parsec (to avoid confusion) and Kelly has been renamed Polly.

Yarn Man and Cowboy Jungle Girl (the Phantom Jungle Girl) also appear.
