Here's one of my new favorite pieces.

It could be argued that this is the story that contains the first appearance of several Bad Idea characters, namely Moose, Lowden Holiday, Chris Tracey, The Imp, Jack End, Jennifer End, Burning Man, Ora, Moss the Boss, Orc Necrowitch, Cerrin, and Moko. But since this was published out of continuity and in a previews catalog - it can't possibly be right?

A great DPS from "The First Supper" published exclusively in the Diamond Previews Catalog #408 - Lampooning comic readers, collectors and speculators alike regarding the very real, very intense debate about what constitutes a first appearance. This is a great page that reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously and enjoy the medium for all that makes it great.

Oh it's a birth page alright. It has the word "FIRST" on it, The Elf will get them all crucified for their flippant views on first appearances, and they will all be resurrected in their own book with slight changes so those will be first appearances and retcon this into prototype status. That is until they do a multiverse thing where multiple verions of the character can appear, so Bad Idea can create buzz by having multiple first appearances for the same character. The NFTs will also be in constant flux.
