Description
From DC database: Lois barges in to the Daily Planet, her wedding dress torn to shreds. She has come to file her story about the drug lord known as Dr. Rajiv Naga whom she had accepted a marriage under false pretenses. Clark wants an opportunity to speak to her in private. Clark is quick to inform her of recent events: ever since she was gone, Perry has been on chemotherapy, so Clark became managing editor. Lois asks Clark why he had not told her, and he replies he says Perry told him not to. Clark then reaches for a glass of water, only to drop it to the floor. When Lois attempts to help him, she sees his hand bleeding and realizes he has lost his powers. Clark tells her he has been without powers ever since the sun went out. He feels frustrated about every crime and disaster Superman could have stopped since then. Lois comforts Clark, saying he can still help people as a reporter.

This is the page prior to the proposal. Seeing Clark with a ponytail dates the page, but it's priceless. Funnier than Clark with a Mullet.

I blame the type of people who decided to give a ponytail or supermullet for him losing his powers. They had lost the power of reason and taste. I certainly lost the power to accept reading the comics around this time. The arts nice but all I want to do is get the whiteout paint and banish this particular look. Clark is a square, not a hipster.
