Title page to the story "Seven Moons'Light Cast Complex Shadows." 80's painted work by Howard Chaykin in Epic Illustrated, which (especially looking back now) had a long list of massively talented artists telling more traditional science fiction stories. Saw this title page come up on Hakes and grabbed it.

Beautiful vibrant colors! The sci-fi subject matter was more to what Chaykin was into creatively at the time and Epic provided the place for that voice to flourish in these early issues.

Yes, the vibrant colors are wonderful, but his sense of futuristic fashion and architecture adds so much.
