DescriptionJoe Casey's run on WildCATS was great! He got Sean Phillips to draw a good chunk of it, which is a recipe for success as far as this fan is concerned! In this scene, Grifter and Zealot face off against a gang of Coda assassins. I love panels 2 and 4, in which Grifter tosses a bomb directly at the viewer, then Zealot is propelled directly at the viewer by that bomb's explosion! Super cool, Doc! You bet - love the lighting on panel 2; not only how the character is perfectly framed there, but also the balance (left leg in the light; right hand in the dark), and panel 4, backlit by the explosion as the character launches forwards, is action comics cinematic gold! Great pick up, Doc! Congrats!
