Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (1998) #1 pg 9 Half Page Splash by Ron Garney & Dan Panosian

What I like about this page... Besides the cool action and sweet charge Garney is known for, the story speaks to the essence of Steve and Sharon's characters. In this first issue of a new series by Mark Waid and Ron Garney, Cap flashes back to an early mission where he and Agent 13, Sharon Carter, infiltrate a hijacked S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Unbeknownst to Steve, Sharon intercepts a Presidential order to Terminate with Extreme Prejudice the lead high-jacker but decides to handle the mission herself to keep Cap from getting dirty. On this page, Cap saves an enemy combatant from falling to his death and says, "Relax. No one dies on my watch," prompting Sharon to give a look, knowing her mission.

This page clearly demonstrates Steve's heroism and Sharon's dedication to the mission.
