DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10x14.5" thick artboard has mixed media original art by prolific and renowned Spanish comics cover artist Rafael López Espí. Cover is for Super Heroes Presenta: La Cosa y Skull (Marvel Two-In-One) Vol. 2 #100, which reprints Marvel Two-In-One stories from issues #35-36 (Thing and Skull The Slayer and Mr. Fantastic). Published in Spain c. 1978 Mundi. Artboard has been hand-painted from edge to edge and showing a similar composition that was based on art from the US issue cover #36 by Ernie Chan. Lt. aging/handling wear. Art remains bright and clean. Displays VF. A wonderful example from the era when Espí's art dominated covers of Spanish comic books, featuring one of Marvel's popular characters and is signed by artist. Superb and dynamic cover art.
