DescriptionMr. X in Slumberland pg 4 Splash from the "Condemned" storyline, ink on vellum. This can be found in the Dean Motter's Mister X "The Modern Age" trade paperback. Dean was generous enough to scan several Mister X pages featuring his main character as well as cityscapes. This one really stood out to me, plus it has the train separate on the artwork which is added to the page itself. It has everything a great Radiant City page should have - art deco design, wild machinery, people jumping off buildings, and a klieg light X in the sky. I included the scan he sent an a pic of the color page. Social/Sharing |

A very stunning city scape with Motter's influential art deco architecture that was ahead of its time and later adopted and popularized. The vellum medium is allows for these exact lines much like an architect had used when drafting blueprints.
