Description

From the "Terror on the Planet of the Apes" storyline. The chapter is called "Up the Nose-Tube To Monkey-Trash", a title that totally intrigues me. Sounds like Doug may have been experimenting with some mind altering substances. Some of Mike Ploog's greatest work. I was totally into these magazines as an 11 year old kid. I would sketch ape images so much that I could do it from memory.

Ploog inks on his own pencils are some of his best. In the magazines, we get the tonal work that more resembles full control of what he wanted he final look to be.
