DescriptionPost 1 of 2 for tonight. When last we left Spidey-Ock (my last CAF post), he was web swinging his way through the city on his way to confront Doctor Octopus. Here on this half splash, we get that confrontation (I mean, wow, how cool does Spidey look?). And when Doc Ock puts two and two together and realizes Spidey isn't just wearing the arms but he has actually SPINE-LOCKED with them, well, he's none too pleased. There's nothing like an 'Ock tantrum' ... 'Ock-trum' ... 'Tant-ock?' Since this is the end of a four-issue story arc, there must be one final knock-down drag-out brouhaha, which leads to my next post for the evening ... https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1950399 Social/Sharing |

Bricks and tentacles! A dream for any comic art fan! Yeah, Ock's new tentacles knows Spidey's team gets better benefits like matching 401k and lower healthcare premiums.

Although I'm not a fan of this revamped Dock Ock, I still love him as a Spidey villain (so classic!) and these are some really terrific images of him. The Spidey image ain't half bad, either!

Otto lived in Peter's body, Peter spine-locked with Otto's arms - these guys are closer at this point than an old married couple.

Ooh, strong Superior Spidey vibe in that top right panel. Definitely dig that about it - bit of a darker bent there. You's on the proverbial McG roll, man, congrats!
