Gorgeous skewed panel arrangement for extra dynamism, a muted but effective color palette, and a classic Valentina sequence in the lower third. So great.
Excellent example of Crepax art from that period! Just fun-tastic! 😹
What they said, and love the swinging 60's vibe!
Pop art storytelling with a flow of action and eroticism throughout! If Crepax didn't design the page, this would have been a 14 panel page from a standard comics artist and would have had less visual impact to the storytelling and to the audience.
Great, work and wall safe Crepax. Although appreciated, one day he will be recognized as one of the most important artist to have ever worked in comics in terms of panel, design and layouts. He is the only artist I can put in the same sentence as Chris Ware.
