Description

Poor Wolvie had a bad day, he just wants to smoke and be left alone, but people keep stabbing him and shooting arrows at him. He's the best at what he does, but what he does mostly is bleed.

I picked up this beauty on a CAF Live event with Jiggy and his artists from Next Comic Art. Thanks to Kin for putting in a call for me to get this, as I was in a car coming back from a show. It's just amazing, and one of a few pieces of art with a big red sun in the background that I've picked up recently (see my Dan Brereton Swamp Thing, my Manananggal by Manix, and another piece I cannot post yet cuz it's not published, but will soon....by Brian Stelfreeze!!).

Unkillable Wolverine! Inspired work by Mercado. This might be one of his most accomplished commission styled work having a refinement in concept and execution. It all comes together to be greater than the sum of its parts bringing a deep meditative mood to Wolverine.
