DescriptionIconic.True of both Bill Sienkiewicz and of Elektra. And when the former draws the latter, it is everything. Elektra: Assassin was a key point in forming my taste in comics and in art and remains one of my top two or three Marvel anythings. Done in what I call his "photo negative" style, I do believe she’s giving some deadly side-eye in this piece. Awesome! You see Sienkiewicz work and become worried when he starts off with that very loose pencil. He then tightens up the inks with a crystal clear vision that pulls it off to leave you with a sense of astonishment.
