Description

I was lucky enough to grab the complete interior artwork for a fun 10-page back-up story from Superior Spider-Man #1 that takes place back when Doc Ock was the Superior Spider-Man and Spider-Boy hadn't been forgotten by everyone yet.

Tonight I am posting pages 4-6.

The artist is the talented Nathan Stockman, an extremely nice guy who has become a very good friend.

In this story, Spider-Boy's unique spider sense sends him to a Fantastic Four storage facility where he becomes embroiled in an altercation between the Superior Spider-Man (Doc Ock in Peter Parker's body), Mr. Negative and his Inner-Demon henchmen.

I won't get into the whole story. I'm including the published pages so you can read what's going on. But I think the artwork is really wonderful, there is some great action, and there is some very dramatic stuff that goes on between Superior Spider-Man and Spider-Boy.

Stockman used a bit of DWJ's technique on Spider-Boy's left foot in that bottom panel. Great, three panel action!

awesome action and posing throughout the page, Spider Boy gets back at Spidey quickly from the previous page despite it being Mr. Negative's fault. nice!

That last panel is just so dynamic! Can't beat the multiple-images-to-convey-movement when it comes to Spider-folk! Congrats!
