Happy Fred Friday!

Just one sketch card post tonight, but it's a really fun one, and it's kind of like two I guess, since you get Superman and Batman in the same character.

Composite Superman first appeared in World's Finest #142 (1964).

Hmmm ... a character that is half Superman and half Batman ... I have soooo many questions.

It's a classic DC character! It was such an oddball villain and his cover image appearances alone sold big time copies for people wanting to find out more! Hembeck brings him back and brings him back sparking that same curiosity.

I have to admit, I'm getting pretty burned out by seeing Hembeck do the same characters so many times, which is why seeing this one is so great!

If Superman is Vanilla and Batman is Chocolate, then Composite Superman is a helluva an ice cream sundae of a comic book character. Very fun one for Fred Friday!
