Original Cover Art - Giuseppe Festino (Italian, * 1943).

Millemondi, then Urania Millemondi, is the generic name of an italian series of anthologies that constitute a science fiction and fantasy collection, defined as the "daughter" of Urania. The first issue was released in June 1971. After the third issue, in 1973 , the series began to be published irregularly (first biannually, then quarterly), taking the name of the season in which it was released. Issue #45 was published in Italy in May 1994.

Giuseppe Festino is an italian professional illustrator who started to work in the 1960s.The 1980s and 1990s marked a pivotal era for Festino�s career as he received notable commissions to design covers for URANIA, one of Italy�s leading science fiction series. Utilizing acrylic paints, he maintained a stylistic continuity with previous artists while infusing his unique flair into each cover. He also illustrated many covers of the Italian ROBOT series.

Great old school chunky wagon wheel designed space station. It's virtually bigger than the planets. Painted to bring that illusion of a realistic 3D look.
