“Invisible Dream” By Mandy Cao

I hadn’t thought about the beautiful art of Mandy Cao in years but when Gallery 30 South sent out an email offering pieces from the gallery’s private collection I couldn’t help by pick up Mandy’s beautiful “Invisible Dream”. I had always loved her art and had really wanted one of her beautiful pieces but when she was creating them they were usually large pieces that I couldn’t afford at the time and the smaller pieces were usually sold before I saw them. This was another piece that I remembered fondly as being a favorite so I wasn’t letting her get away away again.

This lovely little piece was created back in 2017 for Flower Pepper Gallery’s Summer Mood: Cash and Carry show. Mandy’s art is so wonderfully surreal and this piece is no exception as we see this beautiful whimsical scene of a topless ballerina walking across a tightrope amongst this serene and trippy cloudscape. There’s just something so beautifully intriguing about her art and style that I simply adore. So happy to finally have one of her phenomenal pieces in my collection.
