MARIONETTE (MICRONAUTS) #4 -fake cover- by PAUL FRICKE

I took the rare step of adding a few personal touches to Paul's convention sketch; merely filling in the background 'space with stars' the rest of the way, and adding a little depth to the background molecule with some copic markers, following after his original penwork.

This had the effect of both flattening the Marionette figure and making her 'pop' from the background.  An unexpected but pleasing result.

I showed Paul the final version at a recent show and he seemed satisfied with the enhancements.
