Description

Got this from a friend in 1995. He got it from Alex as reference for a Superman costume that he wanted done.
This piece is nearly identical to a piece that Tim T has in his collection. This piece has gotten a bit of attention since being posted including one person that questioned it's authenticity. While Alex never signed it, in 2002 he was in SB as a guest at my wedding. At the receiption he saw the framed piece on display and asked to borrow it for Mythology. He returned it to me the following year. He was disappointed that it was not able to be included as they ran out of space. He apologized for the delay. The piece is the real deal.

Actually, it is one of three drawings that Alex did all in the same pose but all with slightly different shading. I own the other one.
