Description

John Byrne and Chris Claremont had a historic run on Uncanny X-Men, with multiple storylines that have since become classics. If I ever purchased a Byrne X-Men page, I knew it had to be from the Dark Phoenix Saga. Suffice it to say, any pages from that storyline would be well outside my price range (and that's just for a page where little happens), so I jumped at the chance to own John Byrne's own recreations of the death of Jean Grey/Phoenix.

Here is the first of two pages, with Jean making the final transformation from Phoenix to Dark Phoenix.
