Description

The cover for Micronauts :The New Voyages issue #19, by Keith Pollard. Interesting to see in person, as Marionette was originally drawn with an even more awkward pose, and Editorial evidently asked him to redraw her. The Marionette you see is actually an old-style photostat copy pasted over the original pose, and you can see the original drawing through the photostat if you hold the page up to the light.

I used to own this cover! It's great to see it again. The original pose is indeed more awkward or even salacious. (Yes, I held it up to the light as well.) Great Karza image by Keith Pollard!
