MARVEL PREVIEW presents: The Legion of Monsters starring Morbius the Living Vampire and Blade The Vampire Hunter. Wait a sec, a vampire and a vampire hunter...this comic ain't big enough for the two of these guys, someone's gonna lose! Terror tales in the Marvel Manner!

A while back, I bought this comic mag because of it's cool and creepy painted cover...now I own the actual cover! Rendered in acrylic on heavy illustration board, the killer art by Ken Barr has an image area of 12.75 x 17". This is easily one of my favorite pieces. Can you dig it?

Wow another beauty from the master curator of oddball and horror artwork! Awesome image of Morbius. Great shot of Blade. What more can a Marvel horror fan want in a cover?

And what I really like about it is that it has a 'Pulp' Magazine ala Dr Savage inspired feel to it. Look at the pose of Blade especially.

I think Stanley Kirk Burrell, also known as M.C. Hammer, wrote a song about this piece. Well, it's pretty clear when you read the lyrics:
