DescriptionFor me, images that tell a story are sometimes more fun than "iconic" pin-up shots. Take this image. For me, it is the final panel of a short story starring two of my favorite characters: Mr. Miracle and Big Barda. In my mind, Mr. Miracle has planned a big stunt at a construction site. He has a crowd of onlookers and media as he again sets up a stunt to impossibly escape from trap that should end his life. As the stunt runs it's course, there is a final giant fireball and explosion. Barda, leaps into the debris and begins looking for her husband. As she tosses i-beams and chunks of destroyed concrete aside, she hears a chuckle over her shoulder. As she turns, she sees Mr. Miracle hovering on his aero-discs. The crowd cheers as Mr. Miracle comes in close to his wife. Barda begins to chastise Scott for not telling her of the big finale, and he explains that he wanted an honest reaction from her to his big finish. He says it helped build the drama for the crowd. As he leans in to give her a kiss, Barda reaches down and picks up an i-beam which she proceeds to wrap around Mr. Miracle in a big bow. As Scott looks at her sheepishly, Barda reminds him that while he may feel the need to risk his body for his fans, his heart belongs to her. And the crowd goes wild as the media films a whole different finale.Social/Sharing |

He has such a handle on these two characters. He should do a mini.
