Fifteen years have passed since my last comment, so this fantastic piece deserves another... still one of my favorite pieces on this site!
Great page from the first issue of the Defenders! Giacoia's inks are always great on Sal, and the layouts here are so dynamic.
I owned Defenders #1, but as a collector, not a reader. Therefore, I never read it. This page is great. Just hearing The Hulk say, "...Hulk will save day," was worth whatever you paid for this baby.
