Description

Back in the 80's, there was an explosion of independant books published and Omaha the Cat Dancer singlehandedly revived the "underground" anthropomorphic style of adult storytelling. The stories by the late Kate Worley fused with the gorgeous renderings of Reed Waller created a fantastic synergy that very few writer/artist teams ever achieve. This title's excellent quality and overall success lead to a boom period for "adult/underground" strips throughout the late 80's to the mid 90's.

Whoa--I'm having an '80s flashback! Haven't seen an Omaha the Cat Dancer page in a while and this one's a beaut! Stunning splash by Reed Waller. I liked Omaha back in the day, it was a gentler, kinder type of erotic comic, very different from Fritz the Cat. Beautiful composition here, and very nice linework. Great pick-up!
