Description

Cover to a Readers Digest collection of Finnish military jokes, drawn and painted by Eero Einari Nurmela (1910-?), an apparently talented but little known painter and illustrator. Very little information about Nurmela is available online, other than he signed much of his illustration work (especially postcards) with his given names.
The color reproduction on the printed version of this cover is noticably weak.
