Khoi’s commissions recently here on CAF have been awesome so when I saw he was going to be at Phoenix Comicon I reached out ahead of time to see if he could do a commission for me to pick up at the show and luckily he was able to! I gave him a couple of options, and this was the one he chose (and I’m glad he did). Thor 378-380 were a few of my favorite issues when I was a kid – I loved Simonson’s armor design and then issue 380 had the battle between Thor and his Norse arch nemesis Jormungand conducted over full splash pages through the book. Khoi seemed pretty jazzed about taking a stab at this and I think it really shows in the final product – very happy with this piece.

Thanks all! I'm looking to get some more unique commissions done, including around books that I really enjoyed as a kid, like this one. It turned out great!
