DescriptionACQUISITION DATE: 2012SOURCE: Direct OWNER HISTORY: 1 DIMENSIONS: 11 x 17 STOCK: Bristol CREATION DATE: 2012 SIGNATURE: N/A PUBLICATION: Aug 2013 Saw this posted in Steve’s gallery and told him that if it was still available at Big Wow, I would grab it. It was, and I did. As I said, I love Steve’s dinosaurs. I’ve always thought that you could tell a lot about an artist by the way he draws dino’s. In Steve’s case, I’ve never seen a Rex I didn’t like. I love his women more, but his dinosaurs are a close second. As you have already surmised, this is the page 22 splash to Fearless Dawn in Outer Space. Once again, gorgeous pencils by Steve. I love his linework and his textures. Great shading and really nice detail throughout. It’s amazing how he can go from the lightest touch of his most delicate shading to really pressing down on that pencil for those stronger, bolder lines and textures. Steve’s another guy who probably would do very well shooting straight from pencils. Anyway, thanks again buddy! Another year and another fantastic piece! Of course we know this won’t be the last. Already looking forward to the next one! Social/Sharing |

gah! while I really really like this drawing both the German sentences are wrong >_< it'd be Holy Scheisse! and Gott im Himmel! I feel bad pointing it out but on the bright side, no one else will probably notice. Frankly I am shocked that no one is running, that is one freaking dino

Maybe you should hire Anna as a dialog consultant, since you do feature quite a bit of German dialog in your FD books! On the bright side Anna, it's nice to have you browsing my gallery again! Thanks for the comment. And you're right, they SHOULD be running! =)

I changed the dialogue for the new printing and just fixed some of the new story dialogue with this info. Eric, If you can get the piece to Big Wow, we can make the correction on the original I think. Again, thanks Anna and Eric.
