Before he became known for his work in contemporary fine art and his high-profile collaborations with leading brands worldwide, James Jean rose to prominence as an illustrator, most notably as a cover artist for DC Comics' Fables series which garnered him numerous awards and a dedicated fan base.

"The Good Prince" storyline (Fables #60-63 & #65-69) featured some of the best work of James Jean's acclaimed run of Fables covers. This striking cover to issue #67 won the Best in Show prize at the 15th annual Spectrum Awards for Fantastic Art in 2008. Just a stunning example of James' work from this point in his career, and one that I am very happy to own.
