PK - Pillola contro l'Evrontocrazia - Duck Avenger, Evronian

Alberto Lavoradori is an outstanding artist. And an outstanding person, too, but let's focus on the artist.
He started working on Topolino (Mickey Mouse) magazine in early 90s, immediately showing remarkable talent and skill. Always changing and experimenting, evolving, he played a fundamental part in the creation of PKNA (Paperinik New Adventures), a magazine focused on Paperinik (Duck Avenger) character, here called PK, with a more adult approach, introducing a continuity, a graphical structure that resembled the superheroes' and many other features that made that magazine a real cult (still is).
Alberto drew the very first issue, "Evroniani", where PK has to face for the first time the menace of the Evronians (a dangerous alien race), a masterpiece that really gives you an idea of the enormous potential of these Disney characters.

You can then imagine how I felt when I had in my hands this gift from Alberto, a terrific piece showing PK and an Evronian. A wonderful composition, beautifully inked, each single brush stroke gives the illustration dynamism and energy.

It is so vibrant, powerful and magnetic, you cannot look away!
