Description
The splash page from one of my very favorite issues, from one of my very favorite series! Gene Colan's wonderfully moody art sets the stage for his and Marv Wolfman's telling of this crime noir-ish Dracula story which features the introduction of the P.I. Hannibal King, who plays a prominent role in the rest of this series (and ends up being played by Ryan Reynolds in the film Blade: Trinity). Clues are cleverly placed throughout the issue leading to the big reveal at the end that King is a vampire himself!

This piece is not for sale - in fact, I am actively seeking to acquire the cover to Tomb of Dracula #25 (any information on its whereabouts/availability would be greatly appreciated!)

Marv Wolfman's interior monologue for Hannibal King is just perfect.  I love all the interesting characters Marv introduced in this series, sometimes for just one issue, sometimes as supporting characters.  This splash really makes me want to keep reading.  Congrats, and thanks for sharing Gene!

Marvelously moody. Love the whole Noir look and feel.
