You're right, it is something for the Marvel fan to cherish. It's a wonderful image done superbly by the multi-talented Rivera. The guy is just fantastic. Bravo.

Paolo's awesome! He's done a lot of great work with Daredevil but I agree with you, this is my favorite of his! A lot of love put into this piece!

This hits all the right buttons for me, from the near Rockwell-like feeling of nostalgia engendered by the young Peter Parker reading Marvel Comics #1 to the choices and depictions of all the Silver & Bronze Age characters. The color palette adds to the overall feeling of the painting and the Spider-Man figure popping out of his panel adds just the right touch of pizzazz.
