Avengers 168 page 10 by George Perez and Pablo Marcos (1978)

For me this is where Steve and Tony really started to heat up their feud (leading into Civil War decades later). Add in the Guardians of the Galaxy and that Government A$$hat Gyrich and it was one of my favorite stories as a 15 year old. Man I hated Gyrich. I was so into these Avengers books in this period. Pure magic. This page fills a nice hole in my collection.

HA description- George Perez and Pablo Marcos Avengers #168 Issue Page 10 (Original Art (Marvel, 1978). NSA Agent Peter Henry Gyrich made his first appearance in this issue. He would go on to become both the official government liaison to the Avengers as well as a huge thorn in their side! Bureaucracy has come to the super-hero world! This page was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The top three panels were statted, then pasted over the originals in a different order. The original images appear to be there and might be recoverable with professional restoration. All text on the page is paste-up and some have come loose and are missing. Overall the page, signed by both Perez and Marcos in the last panel, is in Very Good condition.
