DescriptionAnother Infantino page from Star Wars Weekly (UK). It was from the 'World of Fire' story arc.I would usually only go for a vintage SW piece if it had some SF hardware, but I made a little exception for this one, as, in addition to the price being tolerable, it showcases Carmine's unique solution to rendering lightsabers, as well as his approach to Leia's... er... statuesque... physique. Howard Bender is credited as 'Tonist' presumably to add Zipatone™ greyscale effects for a B&W book. Note the slight change in Luke's expression in the published version of the fourth panel, probably Howard's handiwork. Social/Sharing |
