Gangbuster and Thorn try to keep Metropolis safe during the power outage but are quickly outnumbered by the rioting Metropolites. Agent Liberty leaps into the mass of humanity just in time to alleviate our would be heroes. Where is Superman when you need him. Jose Delgado grew up in the Metropolis area known as Suicide Slum. As he grew older he became a skilled boxer. He went into teaching and ended up as a high school teacher in Metropolis. He became a mentor to Jerry White (the son of Perry White). When Lex Luthor enlisted youth gangs into organized crime under his control, Jose adopted the identity of Gangbuster to deal with the threat posed to the teenagers in his community. Rhosyn "Rose" Forrest, alias Thorn is a vigilante operating in Metropolis. She is the daughter of Metropolis police officer Phil Forrest and his wife who were both murdered by the 100 when Rose was 12-years-old. The young 12-year-old Rose Thorn found and fought Mr. Quince, the man who murdered her parents. With the aide of the martial arts skills taught to her by her father, Rose defeated Mr. Quince and mutilated him by cutting off his hand. Social/Sharing |

Superb art ! I thought this issue had some if the best artwork of the Jurgens/Breeding run. Sublime !
