DescriptionAfter seeing some of Richard's recent commission work, and his wonderful rough edged detail and skill I wanted to find a way to work with him on a piece. Richard works fast, keeps his promises and delivers the goods. Catch up to him at a convention on online, or through his rep Gin Kung at http://comicparadise.ca . Richard is a joy to work with. I can't recommend Richard or Gin highly enough. Nothing but positives from me.After talking to Richard via Facebook for a while I suggested "Two-Face" and he really loved the idea of using that character. From there I had one of my more collaborative commission experiences. Richard and I bounced ideas off of one another until we came to THIS. The piece is very Ying-Yang, Order-Chaos, Good-Evil. We have Harvey Dent's side, clean, neat, straight edged and all right angles. Harvey's taking out all the evil that's been plaguing Gotham. Ivy, Penguin, Scarecrow, Mister Freeze and The Joker (love Richard's Joker.)....and Hush, His weapon of choice is a clean, shiny, immaculate .45 semi-auto., his hair and suit are equally immaculate. Then we have Two-Face's side, dirty, chaotic, off-kilter, and disorder by design. He's removed all the "goody-goodies" and their enablers, who've gotten in his way over the years. Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, Batman, Batgirl, and...... His suit is loud, and mismatched and his hair is a wild mess, and his weapon of choice is a old-school beat up revolver. That's utterly BRILLIANT! At least he didn't get Commissioner Gordon, right?
