This is the original cover prelim to Detective Comics #567 by Ed Hannigan. Klaus Janson completed the printed cover based on this sketch design.

RIP Harlan Ellison - 1934-2018. Ellison wrote this issue, one of my favorites.

We lost a titan. I love this issue as well, so much fun. “Gotta be a strangler....” :)

To have this prelim is a great, little piece of comic history, I think.
