Description
Holy Acrophobia, Batman! Check out this fantastic image of Batman leaping off a building while battling the Joker! It's an incredible illustration by Lee Bermejo. I love the way Bermejo does detail. Look at Batman's costume--You can see every wrinkle in it, how the cloth strains across Batman's chest and legs. Look at Joker's shirt, notice how it bunches up where Batman's grabbed it. Notice too how Joker's jacket is flapping in the wind. And how the Joker's face is twisted in a hideous grin. And I haven't even talked about the dizzying angle of the buildings spreading out below the combatants. This is the original art for a poster/print that was given out to fans at the 2017 Tokyo Comic Con. Needless to say I was thrilled to pick up this piece.

considering that most of Bermejo's work is digital these days, picking up anything traditional by him is a HUGE win. This is a killer piece and should easily have been a variant cover for Bat or Detective.

Breathtakingly good.  Bermejo draws one of the scariest Jokers ever seen, and his skill with city backdrops is unparalleled.
