DescriptionMemorial Day, Monday May 27, 2019 Nick taking a breather perched on a tank. Published in Nick Cardy: The Artist at War, page 112. Nick was originally drafted into the 66th Infantry Division, where he redesigned their shoulder patch. Later, Nick was transferred to the Third Armored Division as a tank driver. Wow! This is such a cool piece of memorabilia. Especially for someone who's as big a fan of Nicks as you are. Just a really neat piece to add to your Cardy collection. And such an appropriate post for the Memorial Day holiday today.
