Sunset, Scrooge McDuck

Here's the second piece of the Sunset series by Alberto Lavoradori.

As per series description: weird visions, crepuscular and decadent, vibrantly colored.

This is an Uncle Scrooge themed piece that sees our beloved duck as a gold prospector, with shovel and sieve, resting a little bit while leaves are falling.

I absolutely love the composition, colors, and atmosphere. A powerful and emotional picture, also symbolic, which conveys peace and calmness and where you can almost feel the movement of the leaves slowly falling from the trees. I also find the use of white here particularly compelling.
