Description

Commissioned piece Ink, Watercolor, Charcoal, and Gouache on watercolor paper 17" X 14" I loved Aron's Gotham Knight's work from the early 2000"s, but was never able to pick up any of it, so hit Aron up 2-3 times in the last few years about doing a commission. he always turned me down, but it was never don't ask me again. I decided to ask Aron one more time with the idea that he could do a comic art piece, but also infuse it with his current fine art flair. He thought about it a few days and then agreed to do it. This is the result. A very cool old style Batman with his fine art influences in the background and architecture.

Oh wow, this is incredible! I have a single panel page from him but he left the biz before I really collected. Very, very cool to see something colic related from him now. Huge congrats! Persisitence pays off!

This is SO beautiful! I absolutely love everything Wiesenfeld has done and have lamented his departure from comics in 2002. I was incredibly blessed to have acquired a page from Deathblow/Wolverine this year after more than a decade of searching. Wiesenfeld is a true master.

The line work on the costume versus the spandex, skin tight costume is refreshing. The cape and sky are fantastic.  The cowl is perfect.  Great piece.
