Adventures of Superman #560 p.11 - Another Verbal Beatdown!

Okay, so after beating up some crooks on the previous page, "Superman", really Batman in disguise, puts on that smug look of overconfidence in the 2nd panel and asks Lois out on a date. It's a really fun story, but I have to admit this was one part that didn't make sense to me. Batman disguised himself as Superman to help fight crime in Metropolis while Superman was dealing with his "Big Head" issue (see my other pages), but it doesn't make sense that he would try to make time with Lois, who was already eating out of the palm of his hand, while disguised as Superman. Either way, just as she did to the real Superman, she once again lays a verbal smack down on his advances, with an utterly annoyed tone. But it's that ridiculously smug, overconfident look on "Superman's" face in panel 2 that kills me, as if he's going to impress her by taking her to a candlelight dinner just so he can share "ALL the juicy details" of how his "Big Head" is suddenly normal again. Hah! Such a moron! Man, I love this story and art....
