Guardians 3000 #2 cover

I loved the 70's Marvel Presents Guardians of the Galaxy series as a kid and the characters were recently brought back in the Guardians 3000 mini-series. This is my favorite cover from the series and it was also used as the cover to the "Guardians 3000 Vol. 1: Time After Time" trade paperback.

Alex Ross and I are around the same age, and I suspect he also read this as a kid. The cover art definitely evokes the 70's series much more so than the actual mini-series itself.

I let this slip through my fingers a few times previously and I was delighted to finally add it to my collection in 2020. Apart from featuring some of my favorite characters, this is also my first large art Alex Ross cover and his work looks amazing at this size.
