DescriptionIncredible detail in this epic battle page - a real case of Bring on the Bad Guys!Panel layout is so dynamic, so much going on but it flows - Pelletier is a great visual storyteller, and the pencils are good enough to print from! What a pleasure it must be to ink a page like this... Check out the 3rd panel in detail on my additional images - some GREAT characters grouped in one place - the Wolverine is Byrne-worthy, it's crisp and classic Wolvie (fighting The Trapster aka Paste-Pot Pete...good luck with that fight, Paste-Pot!!) A nice acrobatic Spidey V The Wizard, and Prince Namor V Klaw (such a great Kirby design!) Paul's enjoyment of this run on The Incredible Hulk shines through in the richness of detail he puts in so many pages - and the battle scenes sizzle with electric energy, as well as a wealth of references which pay homage to some of the finest creator and character moments ever. Just picked this up from Paul Pelletier's own website - definitely ticked a big box in my collection to finally get original Pelletier pencilled Hulk pages! Social/Sharing |

Yep, Pelletier has got SO many tricks in his box when it comes to page layout - I love the way he can throw in a page of vertically stacked or diagonal panels and they amp up the dynamism and drama!
